I do wish I knew about this sooner too so I could’ve downloaded some myself. But I do see that people were able to and linked some archived ones below, so I’ll get to downloading those. Oof, I am going to come off as a bit nasty here, but I do have some strong feeling about this after looking over her Twitter posts about the subject. I want to try and be polite and concise with my feelings. While I may have my issues with Cafe Rouge now, I can’t deny how much fun I had with it when I was a kid. I remember eagerly awaiting the newest chapter with bated breath.
The writing, art, and character development all have improved since Wonderland Days Sim Date. It’s really nice to see how much Pacthesis has grown since a game like Wonderland Days Sim Date to Star Days. There are a couple of issues I had with the game, and they lay with the characters and the writing. Personally, I feel like no one outside the main love interests is developed enough.

It didn’t make much sense, but I had fun regardless. The world she created, the humor she shared, and the friendly community that spawned from her flash games cannot be replaced. Thank you for posting this because now I can relive my childhood to see if these games still hold up like they used to. As of August 2020 Pacthesis returned from they’re hiatus with the debut a new project, Violet Goes to the Beach, on WEBTOONS.

This feels like a slap in the face to those that got positive experiences out of her content. It just comes off as a bit egotistical to imply that her games had such a massive effect on the players that they were doing tornado-like harm to everyone in their path. They were goofy fun games that got a lot of young girls hooked on the otome genre. I do wish that she’d given more advance notice since most people wouldn’t have thought to download her games before because we just thought they’d always be there. But if it brings her peace of mind, esp after all her years of just giving us free stuff, then I am content to live off of my memories. I’m definitely in the “your media consumption doesn’t define you” camp so I completely understand what y’all are saying. I was miffed at that, too, since female-aimed media always gets crapped on. For us fans, it’s a happy nostalgia, but for her, it could be an entirely different story with baggage that we can’t even imagine.

After reading her twitter posts about it for context, I agree with everything you said. I appreciate that you were compassionate in your comment, especially since it sounds like she is going through a very stressful time and is conflicted about her past work. People like to return to old comfort media but that doesn’t mean that they all have an unhealthy attachment or emotional disturbances. Idk I’m sure some of this is because tone is lost via text but I side-eye people heavily who make assumptions about the wellbeing of others due to their media consumption without a lot of support on why.
